The final step in each child’s journey through ECSG is our Pre-Kindergarten class. This classroom is designed for four year olds. The main goal of our Pre-Kindergarten class is to ensure that every student enters his or her Kindergarten class as a confident and excited student, an enthusiastic emergent reader, and with a strong comprehension of base numbers 0-10.

Our Pre-K program uses a variety of engaging, hands-on activities to support these goals, focusing on a process-based and student-oriented milestones. The children enjoy many inter-curricular, pro-social elements within the Pre-Kindergarten environment. Our expectations and assessments are based directly from the Massachusetts Department of Education State Frameworks for both Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Students. Each of our specific program highlights are described in detail in our unique Pre-Kindergarten Family Packet, which is distributed to all new enrolling families.
